Loop is a result of my ongoing investigation into embodied movement, rhythm and dancing. Like a dancer captivated by rhythm, moving fluidly, repetitively and freely, the two paintings in Loop are expressions of space, time and subjectivity. Together in the gallery space they create a dynamic and experience of continual return, like a drum beat that loops endlessly.

My background as a DJ, and a passion for dance music and the culture that surrounds it, informs and inspires my practice. My studio outcomes take the form of paintings, drawings, video works and spatial explorations.
