Sarah Robson & Julian Goddard

It is What it Is

This exhibition is a collaboration between Sarah Robson (Sydney) and Julian Goddard (Melbourne).  Both share an interest in perception and the way it plays out through everyday experience – including within contemporary art. The title refers to an art making that needs no other explanation other than its aesthetic experience. In the century old tradition of minimalist abstraction this show includes painting, installation and wall sculptures. 

Robson and Goddard have been pursing these interests for many years individually and this show allows an opportunity to work alongside and with each other giving their works unexpected and pleasurable juxtapositions.
