[October 7 – 31]

On Shore Off Shore considers the complex relationship between Australia and it’s South Pacific island neighbour Nauru. Material, spatial and temporal enquiries beginning with Nauru House, act as attempts to see through filter bubbles of contemporary urban idealism whilst exploring narratives of utopia and abstraction.

In questioning the role of search, categorization and curation in contemporary knowledge production and narrative formation, their potential for unscripted discovery and new connections are uncovered.
