Jardine’s series of paintings encourages participation and movement within the gallery space, asking for pre-conceived ideas
of the gallery to be set aside.

As one moves through the parameters of a gallery space, many things might happen…choices are made, perceptions are formed
and relationships are shaped. As such, Jardine’s body of work is informed by notions of enaction, embodiment, the extended body and inter-bodily resonance.

Jardine’s hard edge geometric abstractions act as influential forms of visual language, exploring movement and space. The artist uses gradual shifts in tonal values, along with the directional triangle, to activate the surface.
