In recent years many months have been spent confined within our homes, the space in which our most intimate moments occur. Our thoughts and gestures became exaggerated by daily repetition, and conversations with family and friends more acute as we supported each other during difficult days. We longed for distraction from endless monotony, whilst the objects around us witnessed all we endured. This body of work was made in response to that daily grind. It explores the possibility that the objects, with which we cohabit, observe our interactions and imbue the experiences of our bodies. Exploring liminal spaces, it searches for the threshold from which new narratives can occur, where one object becomes another, as the abstract and the tangible coalesceā€¦
