Themes of perception, light, distance and human interaction are explored in Brett Colquhoun’s exhibition entitled Telescope. Large orb shaped lens’s float above images of heavenly bodies in both the drawings and paintings. Their alignment allows for perception into possible futures and pasts. Both the lens drawings and paintings use images from old astronomy books as backdrops.
