Nick Mahady & Marcel Croxson
Window One Window Two
03.03.21 – 20.03.21

Oceans apart, Croxson and Mahady collaborate on a hum that resonates between London and Melbourne. The two channel sound piece is an overlap of a field recording of dawn heard through bedroom windows in London during 2019, and the sound of light at dusk filtering through replica windows in Melbourne a year later. Window One Window Two is an experiment in moments, the macro and the intimate, as every subtle shift magnifies in stillness.
A confluence of sounds and sights, the installation continues an ongoing dialogue between Croxson and Mahady, the tension between exterior and interior, and the oscillation between rift and realignment.
