My practice has for some time now engaged with the shared language of abstraction in both music, in particular New Music, and painting. My practice as an artist explores this relationship through interconnected aspects such as, in particular, colour relationships: through space and structure, through texture, touch and surface.

This exhibition brings together these aspects by using the artists’ palette as an intermediary or negotiator between the two practices of music and painting. It suggests a concept and an abstract idea that now expands my engagement with abstraction.
