This small body of work comes as a tangent to my normal practice of stone, concrete and brick sculptures. In these new plaster wall-works the forms are enveloped in bands and stripes of colour in such a way that the colour application has a certain ambiguity. That is, colour becomes integral to the form and there is a question as to which shape (colour) lies over or under the other.
The work comprises compositions of discs and forms that create relationships of disc to disc, disc to form and colour to colour.
